Have a natural Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is only days away. If you want to have a "natural Thanksgiving is the time to think about it. Thanks natural seems simple enough, but it takes some thought.

For the past 30 years, our thanks are natural (chemical free) as possible. Most Thanksgiving dinners caseinate loaded with ingredients that pilgrims have never heard: high fructose corn syrup, MSG and artificial colors and flavors, polysorbate 60 and sodium chloride, and transfat. These ingredients have become so common that many, not for Thanksgiving Thanksgiving with them.

I have pushed for years to remove chemicals from our thanksgiving, because our daughter four years, Jenny, said additives and sugar in processed foods. Today there are over 3,000 additives in food, genetically modified food (GMO) and sugar of the utmost importance. In fact, we now have a new sugar High fructose corn syrup (HFC).

Savannah Ashlyn and are determined to help her mother, her healthy and delicious Thanksgiving.

According to a USDA report, about one fourth of the calories consumed by the average American form of added sugars, the majority coming from high fructose corn syrup. Part of what HFCS is a harmful product is that it is metabolized to fat in your body much faster than other sugars.

Your> Thanksgiving is not really healthy as difficult as you might think at first sight. Buy a turkey with a label listing only one ingredient: Turkey. Save money and make your own stuffed with remaining bread. Instead of soft drinks that contain HFCs, children have sparkling apple juice. Do not use boxes or mixtures of canned vegetables, like sweet potatoes.

I want to know who came up with "candied yams." Are not sweet potatoes, good, sweet, without marshmallows?Did you know that are really sugar mallow marshmallows, because they no longer contain Marshmallow Root. Marshmallows are made from sugar, corn syrup, in particular, water and gelatin.

I propose that the regulation of sugar in all forms to the dessert. Remove it from the main course. And completely eliminate high fructose corn syrup from Thanksgiving dinner ever.

Many of the dishes we serve the Thanksgiving meal is loaded with sugar. Why are not likeDessert? This is about me! Jello "salad" is one that is characterized by. Jello with only five ingredients: water, gelatin, sugar, artificial colorings and flavorings. It does not sound like a "salad" to me.

cranberry sauce is a perennial gratitude. They say that there is always an exception to this rule. This is my exception for sugar during Thanksgiving dinner. Cranberries by their nature, are hard. I always buy blueberries in the production department and Cookingsuggested with less sugar than the directions. Some make their cranberry sauce with apple juice instead of sugar, but I'm not capable of the right combination that fits our family to see.

Pre-made whipped cream decorations, such as Cool Whip are transfat primary air, and sugar. Make your own whipped cream with real whipped cream topping. Will not only taste better, is better for you. Cool Whip is made of water, corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated coconut (this isthe transfat) and palm kernel oil (CPKO), sodium caseinate, vanilla extract, xanthan and guar gum, polysorbate 60 (glycosperse) and beta-carotene.

Thanksgiving begins with a natural knowledge of yummy, healthy recipes, and then to buy Whole Foods. Now is the time to plan a bit '. read food labels and found free of artificial ingredients and sugar. Look closely at the ingredients in favorite recipes and healthy substitutions. Finally, keep sugar regulateddessert.
