Cornucopia Centerpiece for Thanksgiving Day

As valid in the month of November we have Thanksgiving and my thoughts are all that this wonderful holiday has to offer.

It 's a time for spending time with family and friends and made to count the many blessings the past year for us. Like most people I like to decorate for the holidays, and Thanksgiving is no exception.

Corn, pumpkins, pumpkins, corn, fruit and everything that symbolizes a bountiful harvest at the topthe list of things I like in my decorating scheme included. The best way to take all these elements together on Thanksgiving Day to create a center for the cornucopia.

What is a cornucopia?

Cornucopia is a Latin word from two words, horns Cornu Copy gained much meaning and significance. The horn of plenty, as it is called, is like a horn or cone-shaped. It is usually indicated with nuts and fruit crowded.

(Freeman, Morton S. The Story behind the words.Philadelphia: Isis Press, 1985)

This everlasting symbol of abundance and is easy to create another important tradition you will do with your family every year.
